Kristen Ostach is an Analyst in the Investment Research Division of Ariel Property Advisors. In this role, she is responsible for providing sales and research support for the company’s investment sales and capital services professionals.
Prior to joining Ariel Property Advisors, Ms. Ostach was an Analyst at Waterfall Asset Management, a hedge fund that specializes in asset-backed securities. In this position, she analyzed portfolio performance and provided foreclosure recommendations based on risk and potential returns. She also created weekly reports that forecasted loan liquidation rates relative to their maturity date and listed real estate assets on the market. Prior to that, she interned in the strategy and licensing department at John Varvatos.
Academically, Ms. Ostach received a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Fordham University. While attending, Ms. Ostach was the captain of the woman’s volleyball team and participated in the leadership academy. After Fordham, Ms. Ostach transferred to Indiana University, where she received a Master’s in Strategic Management. While there, she competed on the Hoosiers’ volleyball team. She is now pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration from the university that she hopes to complete 2019.
During her leisure time, Ms. Ostach enjoys working with kids and coaches a youth club volleyball team, receiving great joy out of watching them develop throughout the season. She also relishes spending time with friends and family.
