Andrew S. Lazarus is a Capital Services Professional at Ariel Property Advisors. In this role, he is responsible for debt and equity placement for commercial real estate investments in New York City and across the United States.
Mr. Lazarus began his real estate career over 25 years ago at Time Equities before moving to Insignia/ESG (now CBRE), Macklowe Properties and Tudor Realty Services Corp., which was acquired by FirstService Residential in 2022. He joined Tudor Realty Services Corp. in 2009 and most recently served as Executive Vice President and part of the leadership team which oversaw the day-to-day operations of the company and then he joined FirstService Residential through the acquisition.
Mr. Lazarus has extensive experience in both commercial and residential real estate. He has been involved in commercial leasing transactions exceeding 2,000,000 square feet and has extensive experience with co-op/condo property management, including being well versed on financial management of those properties, navigating the budget process, long term capital planning and evaluating financing needs. Mr. Lazarus also has a deep understanding of properties included in the Mitchell-Lama Program for affordable housing and working closely with regulatory agencies such as NYC HPD, HDC and HUD.
Mr. Lazarus received a Bachelor of Arts from Syracuse University. He is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of New York and holds the Registered in Apartment Management designation.
