NEW YORK, NY – June 21, 2017 – Sean R. Kelly, Esq. has joined Ariel Property Advisors in its New York office as a Senior Director in the Investment Sales Division. In addition to originating and executing exclusive sales listings, he is responsible for leading business development and networking initiatives in Brooklyn, with a particular focus on Downtown Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights, and Williamsburg.

Mr. Kelly comes to Ariel Property Advisors from CPEX Real Estate where he was a Managing Director in the Investment Sales Division, leading a team of dedicated sales professionals in selling and marketing development and conversion sites. In this role, Mr. Kelly cultivated and maintained client relationships, developed custom marketing campaigns, and led the negotiation process for all transactions on his team.

Since entering the New York City market, Mr. Kelly has successfully brokered more than 100 transactions, consisting of more than 4.5 million square feet, with an aggregate value of over $600 million. His accomplishments earned him recognition as a CoStar “Power Broker,” and both the Home Reporter and Brooklyn Spector named him a “Rising Star.”

Mr. Kelly is also involved in various charities and organizations, both in conjunction with the company and in his personal life. Among those he is involved with are the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), The Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), The Brooklyn Historical Society, Young Leaders Member of the Urban Land Institute, the Building Industry Association of New York City, Inc., the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to being a board member at The Dr. Theodore A. Atlas Foundation, Mr. Kelly is a member of the Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in Staten Island.

Mr. Kelly is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey. He received his Juris Doctorate from Saint John’s University School of Law, and his Bachelors of Science in Finance and Small Business Entrepreneurship from the University of South Carolina. He also worked as a journey-man Ironworker on 4 Times Square, 383 Madison Avenue, and several of the New York City bridges.
