Biography


Matthew Swerdlow is a Capital Services Professional at Ariel Property Advisors. In this role, he is responsible for debt and equity placement, with an expertise in value add and structured financing.

Prior to joining Ariel Property Advisors, Mr. Swerdlow was an Associate Analyst at Eastern Consolidated where he supported a team of 30 investment sales brokers.

He began his career at iFunding, a leading Commercial Real Estate Crowdfunding Platform, where he was responsible for the origination, underwriting, asset management and solicitation of senior debt, mezzanine debt, preferred equity and joint venture investment opportunities to accredited investors and institutions across the country.

Mr. Swerdlow received a B.S. in Finance & Real Estate from Lehigh University and was a finalist in the Collins Family Real Estate Scholarship Competition.

He is a mentor with iMentor NYC, an organization in which mentors commit to a two-year partnership with first-generation students from historically marginalized communities to help them graduate high school, succeed in college and career and achieve their ambitions.
