Aryeh Orlofsky is the Senior Vice President of Investment Research at Ariel Property Advisors. He is responsible for overseeing sales and research support for the company’s investment sales and capital services professionals.
Under Mr. Orlofsky’s supervision, the Investment Research division has produced more than 3,900 Asset Evaluations covering more than 6,400 properties valued at over $40 billion in gross consideration for private and institutional owners throughout the city. His division’s research reports are regularly covered by prominent real estate news outlets and local media including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Commercial Observer, The Real Deal, DNAinfo, Curbed, and others.
In 2016, Mr. Orlofsky was named one of Commercial Observer’s 30 Under 30, which recognizes emerging commercial real estate professionals.
Prior to joining Ariel Property Advisors in 2011, Mr. Orlofsky worked on the high yield trading desk of Jesup & Lamont Securities, where he developed programs to provide credit analysis for high yield bond securities. He later moved to Emerson Equity LLC, a boutique investment bank, where he had the opportunity to assist clients in both short-term bridge needs as well as long-term capital fundraising.
Mr. Orlofsky holds a dual degree in economics and corporate finance from Queens College, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA. As a student, Mr. Orlofsky held prestigious internships at Citigroup Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch and was elected to serve as President of both the Economic Honor Society and Economics and Business Club.
