Daisy Alvarado is a Transaction Coordinator at Ariel Property Advisors. In this role, she is responsible for managing the pipeline for the Institutional Team, from the pre-asset evaluation stage of the process all the way through closing. She acts as the point-person for all phases of deal flow and task management, as well as Salesforce, contract administration, and quality control. She also supervises internal scheduling and is responsible for ensuring the completion of all tasks related to execution.
Prior to joining Ariel Property Advisors, Ms. Alvarado worked as Senior Loan Processor for Fellowship Home Loans, DBA of Intercontinental Capital Group, a residential mortgage lender. Her primary responsibilities included qualifying potential home buyers/owners, quality controlling due diligence documents and completing transactions between loan establishment and the parties involved. These responsibilities included interaction with appraisal, title, and attorney companies. During her time at the company, she also managed marketing and office events, as well as company meetings.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Alvarado worked for Ameriquest Mortgage Company, starting as a Junior Loan Coordinator and eventually becoming a Senior Loan Coordinator. She began her real estate career in 2003, obtaining a real estate license with Century 21, Lafferty Real Estate.
Academically, she attended Nassau Community College, obtaining a degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography. Ms. Alvarado’s hobbies include volleyball and baking/decorating elaborate cakes. In 2000, as team captain for Nassau County’s volleyball team, she was named “Most Valuable Player” and received the “All-Conference” award. The same year, Newsday wrote an article focused on her life as a young Hispanic woman, education, career, and helping her parents raise her siblings.
