NEW YORK, NY – January 19, 2023 – Ariel Property Advisors has arranged the sale of five properties in Brooklyn and Manhattan totaling $13.5 million.



729 Lafayette Avenue

The transactions include:
   • 729 Lafayette Avenue, Brooklyn. A four-story multifamily building in Bedford Stuyvesant with 17 mostly free market units sold for $5.05 million. Director Dov Chein arranged the transaction with Director Benjamin Vago and Founding Partner Victor Sozio.
   • 188 Cooper Street, Brooklyn. A newly constructed luxury multifamily building in Bushwick consisting obr>f one studio and seven one-bedroom apartments sold for $3.55 million. Directors Dov Chein and Matthew Gillis managed the transaction.
   • 344 Lorimer Street, Brooklyn. This development site offering 6,698 BSF in Williamsburg sold for $2.175 million. Situated on Lorimer between Meserole Street and Montrose Avenue near Sternberg Park, the site has approved plans for a five-story, five-unit plus penthouse residential building. Director Benjamin Vago facilitated the transaction along with Partner Sean Kelly and President and Founder Shimon Shkury.
   • 158 West 23rd Street, #1C, Manhattan. Director Howard Raber and President and Founder Shimon Shkury managed the $1.5 million sale of this vacant, turnkey, 1,831-square-foot retail condo with an additional 1,455 square feet of below-grade area. The property is located on 23rd Street between 6th and 7th Avenues in Chelsea.
   • 193 34th Street, Brooklyn. A 4,320-square-foot former church in Greenwood Heights sold for $1.22 million. The building, which is slated to be refurbished into an architect’s office and showroom, includes a 2,160-square-foot basement and about 1,725 square feet of air rights. Partner Sean Kelly arranged the transaction along with Director Stephen Vorvolakos and Associate Julian Montilus.
