NEW YORK, NY – June 24, 2021 – Ariel Property Advisors hosted its sixth annual internship program with The Chapin School, an all-girls independent day school located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Select Chapin students participated in an intensive, four-day commercial real estate course in which they were introduced to a wide range of topics, including the state of the New York City commercial real estate market, rent stabilization laws, real estate pricing metrics and how to present investments. Concepts were illustrated through a variety of remote learning strategies, due to Covid-19, and students concluded the program with a mock presentation of an investment opportunity to Ariel’s partners, demonstrating a practical application of the concepts learned during the week.
The program was held for six students from June 1 to June 4 and was led by Remi Mandell, Investment Sales Analyst, Ariel Property Advisors, and Michael Tortorici, Executive Vice President, Ariel Property Advisors, as well as representatives from Ariel’s Investment Sales, Capital Services and Research Divisions.
