Lawrence Sarn is an Investment Sales Professional at Ariel Property Advisors. In addition to originating and executing exclusive sales listings, he is responsible for leading business development and networking initiatives in Brooklyn, with a particular focus on Flatbush, East Flatbush, Midwood and Borough Park.
Prior to joining Ariel Property Advisors, Mr. Sarn worked as a Managing Director of investment sales at CPEX Real Estate in Brooklyn. In this position, he represented buyers in the execution of over 20 commercial real estate transactions, focusing on properties in both Brooklyn and Queens. During this time, Mr. Sarn worked with a variety of participants, including owners, lenders, investors, contractors, and other real estate agents.
Since beginning his career in commercial real estate, Mr. Sarn has been involved in the valuation of over 300 properties, and successfully participated in the sale of over 50 transactions, with an aggregate value of more than $200 million.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Sarn was Director of Sales at Massey Knakal Realty, now Cushman & Wakefield. In this role, he established a large Brooklyn client base, and prepared asset evaluations for over 200 properties. He eventually captured a nearly 20% market share of commercial building sales in his territory. In 2007, he received Real Estate Weekly’s “Rising Stars” award.
He started his career in sales at Bear Stearns & Co, rising in the ranks during his 20-year tenure at the company to become a Managing Director Principal.
Academically, he earned a B.A. Communications from the University of Hartford.
