NEW YORK, NY – August 23, 2022 – Ariel Property Advisors and Legal Outreach presented their seventh annual commercial real estate internship program for high school students at Ariel’s Midtown office on July 25-28. The internship took place in person for the first time since 2019 after being held virtually for the last two years because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Designed to provide an immersive and in-depth experience of the commercial real estate industry over four days, the program introduces students to a variety of topics that cover a range of industry practices. Amanda Bukobza, Director, Investment Sales, coordinated this year’s event.

Participants had the opportunity to gain exposure to many facets of the commercial real estate industry specifically related to the New York City market, working with the company's Investment Sales, Capital Services and Investment Research departments. Sessions covered the variety of real estate assets, methods for evaluating properties and how the governmental regulatory system influences private and public policy in the market.

"After a few years of doing this internship remotely, it's refreshing to be able to interact with students in person." said Ivan Petrovic, Founding Partner - Operations, Ariel Property Advisors. "It's clearly more effective and rewarding for both students and coaches to collaborate in the office and we believe that once again, we achieved the goal of giving students a glimpse of job opportunities in the commercial real estate industry".

The Legal Outreach commercial real estate program is reflective of Ariel Property Advisors’ commitment to giving back to the community. Ariel Property Advisors is deeply dedicated to community outreach, donating time to causes such as the UJA Federation’s Volunteer Lunch and HELP USA. It also contributes annually to the Inner-City Scholarship Fund, a nonprofit that provides families in need with the financial means to give their children a K-12 Catholic education within the Archdiocese of New York.
