NEW YORK, NY – June 5, 2023 – Ariel Property Advisors (Ariel) announced several new hires, expanding the commercial real estate services and advisory firm’s Investment Sales and Capital Advisory teams.

The recent additions to Ariel include the following professionals:

      • Ryan Schwartz, Capital Services Professional: Mr. Schwartz is responsible for debt and equity placement, with a focus on properties in the Bronx market. Prior to joining Ariel, he was a Vice President in Capital Markets at Walker & Dunlop.

      • Ben Schlegel, Capital Services Professional: Mr. Schlegel is responsible for debt and equity placement, with a focus on multifamily and mixed-use properties across the U.S., including financing for construction, renovations, acquisitions and refinancing. Prior to joining Ariel, he was Director of Acquisitions and Capital Markets at EcoRise Development.

      • Hagay Yuhjtman, Capital Services Professional: Mr. Yuhjtman is responsible for debt and equity placement, with a focus on properties in the Bronx market. He joined Ariel from the tech sector and has previous experience managing and operating commercial real estate including hotels, office properties, and multifamily buildings in New York City and Tel Aviv.

      • Jake Brody, Investment Sales Professional: Mr. Brody is responsible for executing listings and facilitating business development initiatives throughout New York City. Prior to joining Ariel, he held a number of management, sales, marketing, and analytical positions at leading beverage companies Diageo and Anheuser-Busch InBev.
