NEW YORK, NY – July 20, 2026 – For the 11th consecutive year, Ariel Property Advisors hosted its annual commercial real estate internship program for graduating seniors from The Chapin School, an all-girls independent day school on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

Tortorici, Ariel Founding Partner; Meredith Fales, Associate Director of Real Estate for the Archdiocese of New York; and Rachel Courtney, Ariel Operations Manager, participated in the “lunch-and-learn” session with the interns.
Six students from The Chapin School participated in the highly intensive, four-day educational course. Designed to introduce young women to the diverse facets of the commercial real estate industry, the program places a specialized focus on the dynamics of the New York City market. The immersive experience culminated in the students completing an investment property case study and delivering a final presentation to Ariel’s partners and volunteers.
Ariel’s Michael A. Tortorici, Founding Partner, spearheaded the initiative, and Rachel Courtney, Operations Manager, coordinated the program along with participation from Ariel’s professionals. Investment Sales Associates Chéri Roohi and Morgan Rosberg served as intern mentors, with Investment Sales Associates Jack Mastrocola and Erik Moloney, Investment Sales Associate Director Luke Rizzo and Capital Services Director Anthony Priest delivering informative presentations.
"Ariel Property Advisors developed The Chapin School internship 11 years ago to introduce young women to opportunities in commercial real estate,” Mr. Tortorici said. “By showing them all of the ways commercial real estate intersects with economics, finance, architecture, housing policy and urban planning, we hope it leads at least a few of them to explore careers in the industry.”
Mr. Tortorici also hosted a “lunch-and-learn” session with the interns and special guests Robin Fisher, Founder of BLACE, and Meredith Fales, Associate Director of Real Estate for the Archdiocese of New York. Ariel team members participating in the luncheon with Mr. Tortorici included Ms. Courtney, and Gail Donovan, Senior Director of Communications. The professionals spoke about their career paths, responsibilities in their current roles and their experience as women in the real estate industry.
