NEW YORK, NY – September 3, 2026 – For the 11th consecutive year, Ariel Property Advisors presented a four-day immersive internship program to high school students from Legal Outreach, a nonprofit that helps young people from underserved communities gain admission to the country’s most competitive colleges and universities.

Ariel’s professionals presented the six interns with sessions on a variety of commercial real estate topics including methods for evaluating properties and how the governmental regulatory system influences the New York City market.

The interns also attended Ariel’s Summer Coffee & Cap Rates event featuring a market overview by Shimon Shkury, President and Founder of Ariel Property Advisors, and a panel discussion with real estate experts. At the event, Tamika Edwards, Executive Director of Legal Outreach, shared how companies can help students gain workplace exposure, develop new skills and broaden their career pathways.

“Hosting these six interns and having them join us at Coffee & Cap Rates is a clear reminder of why this program matters,” Shkury said. “Partnering with Legal Outreach for the past 11 years has been deeply rewarding for our entire team, and it’s a privilege to help provide the real-world exposure that these future leaders need to succeed.”

Ariel team members who worked directly with the students included: Nick Campoli, Director, Capital Services; James Nestor, Associate Director, Investment Sales; Paul Monaco, Investment Sales Analyst; and Investment Sales Associates Erik Moloney, Jack Mastrocola, Chéri Roohi, and Morgan Rosberg.

Ariel donates all proceeds from its bi-annual Coffee & Cap Rates events to Legal Outreach and offers the internship program annually. Ariel is deeply committed to education, offering additional internship programs to high school students from the Chapin School, an all-girls independent day school located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, and college students from a variety of colleges and universities. Ariel also contributes to the Inner-City Scholarship Fund and Futures in Education, which provide families in need with the financial means to obtain a Catholic education within the Archdiocese of New York and Diocese of Brooklyn and Queens, respectively.
